  1. @4WILL A NEW SERIES HAVE THE TARDIS?

  4. I know, I just hope that they do NOT change the TARDIS. The only problem
  5. is that I can't see Amblin using the "old blue police box". Now wait a
  6. minute, perhaps they could. How does this sound, the first show involves
  7. the Doctor on Gallifrey (explaining his leaving for people that have
  8. never seen the show). His first destination is Earth in the 1960's,
  9. hence the police box as a camouflage for the TARDISs' true appearance.

  11. With the NEW DW, I can see Amblin repeating themselves. What I mean by
  12. that is they would have to (or not) explain several things to viewers
  13. that may have never been fortunate to see the show in the past THIRTY
  14. YEARS. The Master, Gallifrey, TARDIS, Timelords, Daleks, Cybermen etc.,
  15. are things that WE are familiar with but NEW viewers would not have a
  16. clue to who or what they are. It would be like going to a movie and it's
  17. half over. The person would not understand the story and might tend to
  18. reject it.

  20. My BIGGEST fear, regarding the NEW DW, is that Amblin will contradict
  21. theories/stories of the ORIGINAL series. I prey that they hire a
  22. production crue that KNOWS DW and the different shows. We don't need
  23. another Peter Cushing type series. The Doctor an Earth scientist?
